Bread Making Basics Class

BREAD MAKING CLASS WITH GOLD ISLAND BAKERY

The first class was so popular, we’re bringing Jess Ross back again to teach her basic bread making class.

Sunday, March 26th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Specialty Class
$60/per person +HST

Learn some basics of making bread with different a few different approaches and grains, with Jess Ross of Gold Island Bakery:

  • Looking at different grains (wheat, rye, kamut, spelt)
  • Learn how to make a Poolish Dough
  • Whole Wheat Flour Dough
  • Learn a bit about Sourdough

Note: this class will not include a full meal; however Hearty Vegetable Bean Soup will be served with lots of bread!

Each class includes instruction by our own Master Chef, a meal shared with your class and all recipes to take home. Our beautiful Cookery School kitchen is licensed so you may order local beer and wine to enjoy during your class.
